Musical Project Ideas
Week 1: Research a genre, or style of music, that you enjoy or that interests you. Alternatively, ask a family member what style of music they liked when they were your age.
Week 2: Do your report, on a style of music, alone or together as a family. Present your findings in a drawing, collage, or report.
Week 3: Break down a favorite song. Name the song and the artist or band that wrote or performed the song. Provide the lyrics, or words, to the song. What do they mean to you? Be specific and tell why? Do you like the song because of the lyrics, the music, or both? Again, be specific and tell why you like this song.
