Welcome to the 2023-2024 academic year! I am so excited to be your Principal. My family and I have always wanted to come to Lake County. We are thrilled to be here and intend to retire here when the time comes. We just bought a home in Lakeport and are enjoying decorating it. I have 15 years of experience as a school administrator and have had the pleasure of working in the counties of Marin, Sonoma, Sacramento and Butte. Previously, I was the Principal of Pine Ridge Elementary School in the Paradise Unified School District. It was devastating to go through the Camp Fire and witness the entire town of Paradise burn down.

My background in teaching is primarily at the secondary level. I was an English and History teacher for grades 7-12 students. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Management and a minor in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I also earned my Masters degree in Political Science and my teaching credential from California State University, Los Angeles. Lastly, I earned my administrative credential from Point Loma Nazarene University, Arcadia.

I am really enjoying getting to know the staff and families at our school. I appreciate all of the support and positive feedback that I have received. Thanks for welcoming me to this amazing community and I look forward to meeting all of the families and getting to know you.
