I am very happy to be the Special Day Class teacher at Lakeport Elementary School. This is my fourth year at this school. I also taught at the Clearlake Creativity School and Lower Lake Elementary School. Besides teaching elementary school students I have also been teaching dance for about 20 years from young kids to adults. My husband and I love to partner dance together and are often known as, "the dancers" in Lake County. I spend much of my free time choreographing, acting, dancing and singing in shows with the Lake County Theatre Company. I also spend the winter months with my husband, who has been coaching basketball at Terrace Middle School and Clearlake High School for many years. I have lived in Lake County for most of my life and raised two wonderful children who went through the Lakeport school system. Our daughter is now lucky enough to be going to Sonoma State University on a volleyball scholarship. Our son is very much enjoying living a twenty year old life in Santa Cruz. I am a descendent of a long line of teachers and I love teaching.
